ALIDI held Business Negotiations in Finland

ALIDI management visited Finland on the occasion of the opening of new Logistics Complex by Saukko Group. This visit was organized in frame of the business development project “Import”. Peter Demchenkov, General Director and Ekaterina Tulopva, “Import” project leader, had negotiations with the leading finish food producers during two-days visit.

Peter Demchenkov was invited to speak at the seminar “Future of food export” held by Saukko Group as a part of the opening ceremony of its new Logistic Complex. This complex is one of the latest constructions in the field of freezer-storage. The seminar was held with the participation of Finnish Trade and Industry Ministry, non-commercial government organization FinFood and food producers. The scale of the complex was not the only reason to draw attention of government structures, manufactures and journalists. The other reason for such an interest is the role of a distribution center of export freights it will probably play in the future.

During the seminar opened by the speech of Mauri Pekkarinen, Minister of Trade and Industry in Finland, Peter Demchenkov made a presentation of ALIDI Group and highlighted possible ways of cooperation between ALIDI and Finnish producers in the field of food export. ALIDI representatives had an opportunity to meet with representatives of 12 Finnish companies.

“This visit was very important for us. We are interested in partnership development with Finnish companies because of close geographical location of our countries and also because of the growing interest of Russian population to Finnish products. A had an opportunity to talk to Minister Trade and Industry to discuss this matter, – comments Peter Demchenkov.- We made a number of valuable business contacts among the attendees and we hope the initial agreements we made will have further development”.
