04.09.2017

In August 2017, one of the largest warehouse sites of ALIDI Company in St. Petersburg moved to the territory of a modern warehouse complex Octavian, located on the first line of Toksovskoye Highway, near the village of Novoe Devyatkino.

The exact address of the new warehouse is Russia, 188663, Leningrad region, Vsevolozhsky district, Kuzmolovsk urban settlement, Zavodskaya street, 3, building. 361А (warehouse building № 4). ALIDI new warehouse is 13 500 sq.m. and the office block is about 1350 sq.m. Moving to a new site is a planned step related to the development of the company's business and ALIDI's desire to improve the quality of logistics services for partners.

The new warehouse has various storage areas for goods, which were designed at the stage of construction by the landlord at ALIDI request. An important competitive advantage of the new ALIDI warehouse in St. Petersburg is the availability of a multi-temperature storage zone, which enables the company to develop new businesses, such as HoReCa and the distribution of frozen products.

"The transfer of operations to a new warehouse is a large-scale and time-consuming project. We needed six month to prepare it," says Viktor Naumenko, Director of the Nord Division.”As for the move itself, it took about a month. We did not stop operations for this time. From September 1, 2017, absolutely all shipments in St. Petersburg are made from a new warehouse. I would like to note that the warehouse fully correspond to our expectations. The topology of the new warehouse allows a better organization of all logistic processes and let us effectively manage supply chains even in the "high season".

About "Octavian": Warehouse complex of “A” class, consists of 6 buildings, a total area of the complex is 55,400 square meters. Three buildings have already been put into operation, one is planned for commissioning in 2017, two more are to be completed in 2018. Octavian has a convenient transport access for both employees - there are public transport stops nearby - and for trucks - exit to the Ring Road just in 7 km.
