ALIDI was Named the Provider of Choice for the Management of the Central Distribution Center of M.Video Company

M.Video, the largest Russian retailer of electronics and household appliances, plans to create one of the country's largest multi-range logistics centers in Chekhov near Moscow by June 2017, combining two operating warehouses under a single management. ALIDI became the winner of the open tender for managing the central distribution center.

ALIDI became the winner of the open tender for managing the central distribution center.

The united central distribution center of M.Video will have the following characteristics:
• total area (with mezzanines) is 62,000 sq.m. number of gates - 54
• storage capacity up to 92,000 cubic meters.
• processing volumes up to 110,000 cubic meters. per month
• The structure of the processed goods - a full range of large to small household appliances, accessories and media carriers (about 20 000 SKU)

"The combination of two key warehouses under the management of one partner will allow M.Video to accelerate the shipment and delivery of client products almost twice for Moscow and the Moscow region. We also plan to optimize costs through tariff policy and reduction of transportation expenses, and through more efficient use of available wrahousing areas thanks to business process improvement. The contract with ALIDI will be concluded for a period of three years from June 2017. More than 10 companies-leaders of the Russian logistics market took part in the tender of M.Video choosing a service provider in the Moscow region.
