ALIDI Holds an Open Day for Wrigley

October, 14, Nizhny Novgorod – ALIDI Group, Russian leading provider of logistics and distribution services, held an open day for Wrigley Company. The time of the event coincided with the 3-d anniversary of the partnership.

ALIDI and Wrigley have been partners since October 2006, when the companies concluded first logistic contract. Since that time the scope of logistic operations according to the contract has increased twofold. Within the frame of this project ALIDI provides to Wrigley the following logistic services: receipt of goods, picking, marking, shipment of goods, handling of commercial equipment, pre-sale services and information support.

On November, 2007, ALIDI and Wrigley expanded the cooperation: ALIDI became Wrigley distributor in Saransk, than in 2008 Wrigley’s sales department was opened in Vladimir; on June, 2009 ALIDI started sales of Wrigley goods in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

The business-meeting initiated by ALIDI gathered the following representatives of Wrigley Company: Aleksei Larionov, Executive of strategic development; Julia Esaulenko, Logistic Manager; Aleksei Dorogin, Sales and distributor Manager in the Volga region, Natalia Kadobkina, Logistics supervisor in Western Russia, Artem Galochkin, Logistics expert in Nizhniy Novgorod. ALIDI was represented by Peter Demchenkov, General Director; Aleksey Kolegov, Commercial Director; Vitalii Geptner, Director of Wrigley Sales Department; Michael Miller, Logistic Services Sales Director; Michael Romanov, Logistic manager.

During the meeting representatives of ALIDI told about major projects of this year and made review of business activities and results of main mutual projects. Than guests visited warehouse and had possibility to see by their own eyes the picking process. Since this year all logistic operations within Wrigley contract are effected using WMS. The system in work was demonstrated to guests. At the end of the day guests were invited to plant a tree on the Alley of strategic partnership – as the symbol of third anniversary of successful partnership.
