ALIDI Has Become an Exclusive Nestle Distributor in Kenya
13.06.2014ALIDI has become an exclusive Nestle distributor on the whole territory of Kenya. This territory is 582 000 sq.m., and its population is 44 mln. people.
ALIDI started distribution operations in Mount and North Nairobi regions of Kenya in September, 2013. In three months ALIDI shown high results and got the new territory under its coverage in December, 2013. Operations on the territory of the new region, Rift Valley, started in March, 2014. In May ALIDI got all the territory of Kenya under its coverage.
ALIDI team opened five new branches in different towns of Kenya, rented extra warehouse area of 600 sq.m. and bought 40 vehicles. The staff has grown twice. Now there are more than 120 employees in ALIDI-Kenya, 80 of them are sales representatives. They use preselling and van-selling techniques. Moreover, very soon there motorbike sales representatives (MSR) will start to work in ALIDI Kenya. MSRs will work on motorbikes in hard-to-reach areas.
“One year ago, on the 12th of June, 2013 we registered ALIDI Kenya, LTD. When we started our work, we were the third distributor of Nestle in Kenya. But in a year we became the only company to provide distribution services for Nestle in Kenya. We proved that we can work on the developing market and shown high results, - says Peter Demchenkov, CEO ALIDI Group. – It is very important that ALIDI is the 1st Russian company, which managed to realize such a project. It gives us advantages in developing of partnership with Russian and foreign partners”.
